Greeting from Holy Cross School
We hope that you and your family are safe and may God continue to protect you all through your life. I believe that it is still a challenging time for all of us and we have to face it courageously to throw all our unwanted thoughts and thinking. We have to get involved in doing something and the school is trying its best to offer its best and it is trying to reach all its students through gadgets to engage them. Pandemic has even changed the traditional teaching methodology and this is a new teaching experiences and involvements. We have no other option but accept the changes and move on to excel in what the nature has presented us.
The State Government has come out with the new set of temporary guidelines on imparting online education to students. According to it, for students of classes 1 to 5; teachers can hold two sessions of 30 -45 minutes per day on alternative days only.

Greeting from Holy Cross School & PU College, Whitefield, Bengaluru- 66
Hope you and your family are well. May almighty God always be with you and your family.
The Coronavirus has paralysed the normal functionality of all sectors and Educational institutions are not an exception. Parents and children are bombarded with messages, the mails and posts which destroy the spirit of learning and spoil the dedicated works of many teachers. There are several notifications and guidelines each day but we are not able to follow some of them. The Government is yet to take a decision on reopening of the schools for the academic year 2020-2021 and we are patiently waiting for the annunciation. The government had asked the schools to get the opinions of the parents and the consultation circular was sent to all the parents. I thank all the parents for giving meaningful suggestions. Your concerns were compiled and the report was uploaded in (SATS)Student Achievement Tracking System, Karnataka). The Government will come up with positive proceedings of the schools and will choose suitable functioning of the schools. However, the government has allowed to handle online classes for the high school students.
We are carrying out our daily routine works and we are not tired and exhausted of doing our best. As planned for the month, we will send you the recorded videos and those videos will be sent to you along with notes and same will be posted in our school official YouTube and Facebook. The students who had missed those videos can get or download from our social media for your learning. “Learn less and learn it well” is the concept ours now at this unpredicted time.
Traditional teaching methodology is gradually changing and we are catching up with unfamiliar method to effectively reach our students. Online classes have its limitations but still we are compelled to opt this method to teach our students at this juncture and it is the only way to be in touch with our students.
The School started to distribute the store materials but there are many parents/students who have not collected and the school recommends them to collect the store materials and it will help and assist you to travel and journey with other students. You know that the teachers send regularly recorded videos and notes and if you have no textbooks and note books then you will find it hard to go along with rest of them. Therefore, the school recommends you to collect the store materials before 10th of July,2020. (refer the fees column)
In this challenging period, we request your wholehearted support in helping us to make the ONLINE classes smooth and successful. Online classes for 6th Std. to 8th std. will begin from 9th July, 2020 onwards. We have earlier started online classes for 9th std. CBSE to 10th Std. CBSE and II PUC.
In view of Covid19 pandemic and in fulfilment of the notification of the government of Karnataka, Holy Cross School & PU College fees structure for the academic year 2020-2021 announced earlier shall stand cancelled. The Fees Structure of the School for the Academic year 2019 -2020 will be applicable for only this Academic year 2020-2021.
To further simplify our fees structure and to reduce our parents’ burden, the management has decided to collect monthly fees for this academic year 2020-2021. (The parents who have already paid all the three term fees, will have to meet and will do the needful).

Switch over from anxieties to God -centred!
Do believe in God
Do believe in God than the astrologers’ nonsense predictions!
Do believe in God than the deadly virus!
Do believe in God for He has given us this life to live!
No pandemic
No plague
No epidemic
No sickness
No disease
No illness can near you because He has given you this life to live!
Do not get frightened of your financial insecurity!
Do not be anxious of your job uncertainty!
Do not be terrified of your tomorrow!
The God of today will take care of your tomorrow!
Depend on Him who has given you this life to live!
Rest in Him has given you this life to live!
Place your worries
Place your fears
Place your doubts
He who has given you this life will take care of you!
May the fear of your fear move away from you!
May the life of your life stick on you!
Time to come back to your trust mode!
Time to rely on Him and change your hopeless mode to hopeful mode!
Change your despair mode to cheerful mode!
Change your anguish mode to happy mode!
Change your sorrowful mode to joyous mode!
Change your desperate mode to competent mode!
And finally
Switch over from worries to God -centred!
